Pre-employment or pre-placement physicals are examinations prior to employment to assess the ability of the applicant to perform the job safely and to minimize risk of injury.

To protect against discrimination in hiring, the physical examination should be required after a job is offered.

What is it consisting of?

It must be related to the job the applicant will be doing.

Is employment physical examination covered by health insurance?

Yes, at Physical Exam Center we accept most insurances. For uninsured people the nominal payment of $150(credit) …$100(cash) will be collected at check in.

Additional fee will be collected for uninsured if blood or urine test is required.

What kind of drug testing can be done for pre-employment physical examination?

We do all types of drug testing. There are several types that candidates for employment may be asked to take. Most employers ask for a standard five-panel urine test of "street drugs," consisting of Marijuana (THC), Cocaine, PCP, Opiates (such as codeine and morphine) and Amphetamines (including methamphetamine). Some employers use a ten-panel test, which includes prescription drugs that are legal to possess and use. Employers can also test for alcohol. Blood tests are also available.
